LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today to its lowest amount since Jan. 23, 2018, falling four-tenths of a cent to $3.299, the 20th consecutive decrease.
The average price has dropped 12.9 cents over the past 20 days, including two-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 4 cents less than one week ago and 12.3 cents lower than one month ago but 5.1 cents higher than one year ago.
The Orange County average price also dropped today to its lowest amount since Jan. 23, 2018, falling two-tenths of a cent to $3.261, the 25th decrease in 26 days.
The Orange County average price has dropped 15.5 cents over the past 26 days, including three-tenths of a cent on Monday. It dropped for 23 consecutive days, was unchanged Sunday and resumed decreasing on Monday.
The Orange County average price is 3.6 cents less than one week ago and 11.3 cents lower than one month ago but 5.1 cents higher than one year ago.
