(Anna Mae Blessing: Maricopa County Sheriff's Office)
This is Anna Mae Blessing and she is 92-years-old. She was just arrested for shooting and killing her 72-year-old son because he wanted to put her in an assisted living facility.
She is facing one charge each of first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping.
Blessing did not like the fact that her son and his girlfriend were 'taking her life' so she grabbed a revolver and a .25 caliber pistol and aimed it at the couple. Blessing only brought out the second gun after her son's girlfriend smacked the first gun away from her but the girlfriend still managed to get away unscathed.
