NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — A campus wide lockdown has been partially lifted at Yale University as New Haven, Conn., police continue to investigate after receiving a call saying someone was coming with a gun to shoot up the school.

The shelter-in-place order is now only in effect for the Old Campus and Calhoun College sections of the Ivy League school.

New Haven police Officer David Hartman says an anonymous caller told them his roommate had a gun and was heading to the campus.

He says at least two people reported seeing a man with a long gun in the area. Hartman says there was nothing specific about the threat. He says the call came from a pay telephone nearby.

There have been no reports of shots fired or anyone injured.

No arrests have been made.
