John Kobylt welcomes Huy Tran to the show to discuss his experience flying the Alaska Airlines flight that lost its door plug.

Huy Tran was seated in the row behind when a door plug blew off midair during an Alaska Airlines flight 1282 in January. Tran mentioned being only a few feet away from the exposed hole, leading to an emergency landing at PDX. He shared with KIRO 7 that he had just shut his eyes when he heard a sudden whooshing noise.

Tran described the fear and chaos on board, with passengers being injured. Lawsuits have been filed against Boeing, Alaska Airlines, and Spirit Aerosystems.

Tran and his loved ones are also filing a lawsuit seeking compensation and safety improvements. Tran is now afraid to fly and won't board a 737.
