LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Police sought the public's help Friday to identify the motorist who struck and injured a 62-year-old man in a hit-and-run crash in the Koreatown area.
The man was struck just after 6 a.m. Feb. 20 at the intersection of Crenshaw and Venice boulevards. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the man was walking in a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a gray SUV.
The man was "walking southbound Crenshaw Boulevard inside a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a late-model, gray, sports utility vehicle that was making an eastbound turn onto Venice Boulevard from Crenshaw Boulevard," according to a police statement.
The driver fled the scene.
The city has a standing reward offer of up to $25,000 for information leading to a conviction in an injury hit-and-run.
