Bob Spivak Talks Saved by A Blonde & A Chicken Pot Pie

Bob is co-founder of the restaurant development firm, Spivak and Frank. They assist people in developing and opening restaurant concepts. They have worked with Dunkin Donuts, Baskin’ Robbins, Take A Bao, Kichi Grill, and Lucky Robata Grill. 

 

Bob Spivak was 39, selling solar pool covers, and living with his father to save money to support his children when a lunch meeting changed everything. In Saved by A Blonde & A Chicken Pot Pie, Spivak tells how he went from hauling his father’s Smokey Joe’s barbequed beans in the trunk of his car as a teenager, delivering steaks in jail to famed mobster Mickey Cohen, to later opening The Grill on the Alley.
