Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred says he plans on retiring at the end of his current term.
- Manfred dropped the bombshell on Thursday, saying, "You can only have so much fun in one lifetime. I have been open with owners about the fact that this is going to be my last term."
- The 65-year-old Manfred has been the league’s commissioner since 2015. His third term is set to expire in January 2029.
