FULLERTON (CNS) - Fullerton police Wednesday were investigating the cause of a collision that killed a pedestrian Tuesday night.
The man killed in the collision was struck just after 6 p.m. at South Basque and West Orangethorpe avenues, police said. The name of the victim was not immediately released as authorities were working to notify all of his relatives.
The victim was crossing Orangethorpe when he was struck by a Nissan Kicks driven by a 53-year-old woman from Buena Park, who remained on the scene and cooperated, according to the Fullerton Police Department. Investigators do not think drugs or alcohol contributed to the cause of the collision.
