Derrick Ward, a former NFL running back, has recently been apprehended in Los Angeles over alleged involvement in a string of robberies. According to TMZ Sports, Ward stands accused of targeting multiple establishments, notably gas stations, as part of these criminal activities.
Law enforcement officials revealed to TMZ that Ward's approach did not involve the use of firearms but rather relied on tactics involving "force and fear" to carry out the alleged robberies.
Ward enjoyed a successful career spanning eight seasons in the NFL, from 2004 to 2011. His peak performance unfolded during his tenure with the Giants, where he clinched a Super Bowl victory in 2007 and notably amassed 1,025 rushing yards in 2008.
