TIME Magazine has a list of the nine candidates who are contenders for this year's ‘Person of the Year.’
The list includes:
- Hollywood strikers - Screenwriters and actors went on strike, putting a pause on filming and creating shows and movies throughout the year.
- Chinese President Xi Jinping
- Taylor Swift
- CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman
- Trump Prosecutors
- Barbie
- Russian President Vladimir Putin
- King Charles III
- Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell
- This selection has been made each year since 1927. This year, Person of the Year will be announced on Wednesday morning.
