Rock musician Denny Laine, renowned for co-founding The Moody Blues and Wings, passed away at the age of 79 on Tuesday. His publicist, Alan Miller, confirmed Laine's death, stating that he passed away in the morning at NCH Baker Hospital in Naples, Florida. Laine had been battling health issues, including a collapsed lung, bacterial infections, and recurring hospital visits. Recognized as the original lead singer and guitarist of The Moody Blues, the band achieved induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. Moreover, Laine collaborated extensively with former Beatle Paul McCartney throughout the ‘70s as a pivotal member of the highly acclaimed band Wings.
