There's a cool exhibition right now at the gorgeous South Coast Botanic Garden, by Thomas Danbo, who is considered to be the world's leading recycle artist.
It's called "Trolls: Save The Humans," and it features six larger-than-life troll sculptures built from reclaimed materials. As the story goes, the trolls are activists who have noticed that humans are disconnected from nature and have started harming the planet. These trolls have decided to make it their life's work to help teach humans how to live in harmony with nature. Each troll on display has a name and plays a distinctive role in their tribe.
In addition to the exhibition, the South Coast Botanic Garden hosts companion classes about nature and recycling inspired by each of the six trolls on display.
For tickets or to find out more about the trolls, their message, and the classes, check out the South Coast Botanic Garden website. The Trolls will be on display through January 15th.
