Two of the largest amusement park companies in North America are coming together in a significant move. Cedar Fair and Six Flags Entertainment have revealed their intentions to merge, forming a brand-new company with an estimated value of $3.5 billion.
This new entity, operating under the name Six Flags, will take control of 27 amusement parks, 15 water parks, and 9 resorts located throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Additionally, it will have ownership of valuable intellectual property, including popular brands like Looney Tunes, Peanuts, and DC Comics.
