Disney has officially announced the conclusion of a significant agreement with Comcast, through which Disney will acquire Comcast's one-third stake in Hulu.
The total cost of this acquisition for Disney amounts to a substantial $8.61 billion. This strategic move will grant Disney complete ownership of Hulu, adding to its already impressive portfolio of streaming services.
As it stands, Disney offers its streaming platform, Disney+, in a bundled package alongside Hulu and ESPN+.
