Halloween Spending Set to Reach Record Levels

The arrival of the Halloween season is evident in the robust consumer spending trends.

As per the latest findings by the National Retail Federation, Americans are projected to set a new spending record for this holiday, with an anticipated expenditure of $12.2 billion this year.

This figure represents an increase of nearly $2 billion compared to the previous year's total.

"More Americans than ever will be reaching into their wallets and spending a record amount of money to celebrate Halloween this year," said NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay in a statement. "Consumers will be shopping early for festive decor and other related items and retailers are prepared with the inventory to help customers and their families take part in this popular and fun tradition."
