Two people are being detained in China after being accused of destroying part of the Great Wall of China in order to create a shortcut.
- The two people, a 38-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman, allegedly used an excavator to create a gap in the wall to pass through.
- The section damaged dates back to the Ming dynasty, which ran from 1368-1644.
