Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run in North Hollywood Identified

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - A 28-year-old man fatally struck by a car in a hit-and-run in the North Hollywood area was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

The man was injured at about 1:50 a.m. Friday at Lankershim Boulevard and Arminta Street, and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The medical examiner's office identified the victim as Tahri Joseph. Joseph's place of resident was not disclosed.

The hit-and-run vehicle was described only as a dark-colored sedan, police said.

A standing reward of up to $50,000 has been offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps solve a fatal hit-and-run collision.
