A CEO with connections to the Titanic is thought to have perished on board the submersible that was exploring the ship.
According to ABC News, the wife of OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, Wendy, is actually the great-great-granddaughter of Isidor and Ida Strauss, who both perished on the Titanic. Isidor shared ownership of Macy's.
The U.S. Coast Guard said on Thursday that they had recovered "debris" and believed that everyone aboard, including Stockton Rush, had perished after four days of searching for the missing sub.
