Joel covered a lot this week, so here's a quick outline of what you need to know to get yourself on your way to financial happiness:

Money Move of the Week: Consider cutting your own hair! It might not be the prettiest, but cutting your own hair can help save you some cash throughout the year!

Outlandish Headline of the Week: "The Death of Ownership" from Business Insider. The article goes into detail about how consumers are no longer owning the things they buy. Some of these examples are companies remotely brick printers and phones and computers no longer getting updates and support. It's a bad trend when you're paying for something, and that thing can essentially be taken away from you remotely.

For things that you do own, it may not be the best idea to try to repair certain items. Even if you fancy yourself as a DIY master and want to fix your household appliances yourself, but there are a few things that you probably don't want to fix yourself, due to the possibility of serious injury or even death. Things like microwaves, gas and electric repairs, demoing a wall, and garage doors, may be best left to the professionals due to the knowledge needed to keep yourself safe.
