Authorities are looking into allegations that an Oregon man emptied the joint bank accounts of his family and dumped thousands of dollars in cash on a nearby highway.
The cash was thrown out of Colin McCarthy's driving automobile on Interstate 5 on Tuesday night. According to reports, he told the officers who arrived that he was "doing well and wanted to bless others with gifts of money." Anyone who finds money on the highway is urged to report it to the authorities by McCarthy's family.
