- The plane was reportedly stationary on the runway holding to taxi for takeoff at the Los Angeles International Airport when the passenger exited the aircraft after activating the emergency exit slide.
- Delta re-accommodated passengers on a new aircraft and apologized for the inconvenience and delay in travel plans.
