Disgraced former L.A. city councilmember Jose Huizar pleaded guilty Friday to racketeering and tax evasion. Huizar received at least $1.5 million dollars from real estate developers while in office. Huizar was a part of L.A.'s city council for 15 years and had initially maintained his innocence against the allegations before eventually giving a guilty plea. When the judge asked if Huizar plead guilty because he was in fact guilty, Huizar replied, "Yes your honor."
