Have you ever seen an invisible home?

A home in Joshua Tree designed to be 'invisible' in the desert landscape has hit the market for $18 million.

If someone buys it for that price, it'll be the most expensive every sold in the area.

The 5,490 square-foot home was built in 2019, features a main open-plan living area lined on both sides with floor-to-ceiling glass, and has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, an indoor 100 foot solar pool and an amazing kitchen. The price for the house also includes the furniture and a prefab guest house.

The owner of the home, film producer Chris Hanley, who produced films like 'American Psycho' and 'The Virgin Suicides' said he approached artist/architect Tomas Osinski, to draw up plans based on a drawing he did saying

"I drew a rectangle on paper and said 'OK, we'll build this. I thought it could just be a monolithic, reflective, ultra-minimal thing"
