HOLLYWOOD HILLS (CNS) - Police Friday were investigating a break-in at rapper Megan Thee Stallion's home in Hollywood Hills, after a pair of thieves stole more than $300,000 worth of items.
The break-in occurred Thursday night when the two male suspects broke a door in the rear of the rapper's home and gained entrance, according to reports from TMZ and the Los Angeles Times.
Preliminary estimates indicated the thieves stole more than $300,000 worth of jewelry, cash and other items, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The rapper, whose real name is Megan Pete, posted a Twitter message Friday afternoon that appeared to reference the break-in.
"Material things can be replaced but I'm glad everyone is safe," she wrote.
LAPD investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the area. No further details were immediately available.
