If you felt a slight gust of wind blow your way, it was probably from Handel breathing a sigh of relief over this Costco news.
The big box retailer has promised to maintain the price of its hot dog-soda combo at $1.50 potentially "forever".
During a recent presentation, Costco CFO Richard Galanti said that other areas of the business were doing so well that it could afford to hold onto the low prices of things like the hot dog combo meal.
A stellar deal, considering MarketWatch ran some numbers and if the combo price had been adjusted for inflation, the same meal would cost $4.11 today.
In other great news, Galanti also mentioned there were no immediate plans to raise the membership fee, currently starting at $60.
