The anticipation of a plane carrying migrants from Florida to make a political statement on behalf of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis created a buzz today as members of the media and community organizations waited in Georgetown for the arrival of the jet.
A spokesperson for the state Department of Health and Social Services, Jill Fredel, said this afternoon that there had been no reports of any planes arriving at Georgetown's Delaware Coastal Airport transporting migrants.
