A five-year-old brought fear and laughter to his community by dressing up as the murderous doll, Chucky.
Jackson Reed was seen on the side of the road of a residential neighborhood in Pinson, Alabama dressed as the doll in photos that have since gone viral.
"That’s just kind of how his personality is," his mother said. "He loves to make people laugh."
Britnee Reed, Jackson’s mother, said she was first alerted to the photos when she was at work. A co-worker showed the Facebook photos to her, saying dressing up as Chucky and stalking the neighborhood was something her son would do. Then, she noticed it was, in fact, her son in the photos. Reed then called her mother, who was watching Jackson. Britnee’s mother admitted to helping Jackson in the costume, so he could conduct his neighborhood watch.
The reaction has been overwhelming, Reed said, with mostly positive comments, and a few birthday and event invites. Jackson has politely declined the invites but said he will continue scaring those in his community.
