A federal judge has allowed a woman to file a lawsuit against Subway after she claims the restaurant chain misled her.
- The California-based plaintiff, Nilima Amin, stated that the restaurant claims their sandwiches and other products contain “100% tuna.”
- Amin is suing Subway for fraud, deceptive advertising, and unfair competition and is asking for a jury trial as well as class-action status.
- The lawsuit requests restitution, punitive damages, and "disgorgement of all ill-gotten gains," from Subway.
