The latest sign of inflation? The end of Dollar Drinks at McDonald's.
For years, McDonald's has offered any size soft drink for just $1. But some locations are ditching the promotion and raising the price of sodas.
Instead, some franchise owners are focusing on promoting the Value Menu.
“Customers can always count on McDonald’s for great value, which remains an important part of our marketing strategy. Franchisees set prices and have the flexibility to create promotions that will drive demand locally,” McDonald’s said in a statement emailed to Restaurant Dive.
