WESTMINSTER (CNS) - A man walking in the center divider of the Garden Grove (22) Freeway in Westminster was fatally struck by a vehicle tonight.
The man was found on the eastbound 22 Freeway at Brookhurst Street around 9 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. He died at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
It was not initially clear why the man was on the freeway. Details of the crash were not immediately available.
