The pump price sat at 69 cents for three hours, causing the Shell station to lose a reported $16 thousand!

The former manager told local news that he accidentally misplaced a decimal when trying to set the price of premium gas at $6.99.

"I put all three prices on there, except the diesel. The last one kind of didn't go. So, I just took responsibility for it and said yeah it's my fault," said gas station manager John Szczecina.

According to one customer, “I started looking around … and everybody had a big smile and they kinda were not looking at you in your eyes."
