Army Soldier Killed By Bear During Training Exercise In Alaska

A U.S. Army soldier has died after he was attacked by a bear during a training exercise in Alaska.

The soldier, whose name has not been released, was part of a group training in Eagle River, near Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.

Wildlife officers were sent to find the bear, and the area is now currently closed to the public. However, any further details on the attack have not yet been released.
