The U.S. is sending an additional $800 million in weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, President Biden announced Wednesday.
- The latest package of aid contains artillery rounds and armored personal carriers along with more helicopters.
Biden said, "The steady supply of weapons the United States and its allies and partners have provided to Ukraine has been critical in sustaining its fight against the Russian invasion."
He then added, "We cannot rest now."
- According to The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. is also expanding the scope of intelligence it is sharing with Ukraine as Russian forces are repositioning themselves in the south and east of the country.
