A site featuring dinosaur tracks dating back millions of years was damaged by construction workers, officials say.
- Back in January, a backhoe and other construction vehicles were driven onto the Mill Canyon Dinosaur Tracksite during work to repair a boardwalk.
- One paleontologist said he was 'outraged' by the damage to 'one of the world's most important paleontological resources'.
- The 2.3 acre site includes footprints and fossils from several different dinosaurs and animals, estimated to be 112 million years old.
