- After seizing the Chernobyl nuclear plant a week after it invaded Ukraine, Russia’s military is ready to give it back.
- Russian troops have informed Energoatom, the state agency assigned with overseeing the plant, that they plan on leaving – and they want Ukraine to resume control of the nuclear facility, according to Energoatom officials.
- Russia appears to be telling the truth, too. U.S. military officials on Thursday saw Russian forces leaving Chernobyl, a senior defense official reports.
