LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A motorcycle officer with the Los Angeles Police Department was injured today in a collision in the Chinatown area of Los Angeles.
The collision involved a civilian vehicle and took place around 2 p.m. in the area of Alpine Street and North Main Street, near the Twin Towers Correctional Facility, ABC7 reported.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took the officer to a hospital in unknown condition. The LAFD could not immediately confirm if the driver of the civilian vehicle was injured in the collision.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
