LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities today identified a teen who was killed when the motorized scooter he was riding crashed in the Vermont Square area.
Paramedics were sent to the 4200 block of South Figueroa Street about 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Ruben Castano, 16, of Los Angeles, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner's office reported.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
