The U.S. is sending another 3,000 troops to Europe as tensions rise between Russia and Ukraine.
- President Biden formally approved the deployment on Wednesday, with 2,000 troops heading to Poland and Germany and 1,000 troops moving from Germany to Romania.
- A Pentagon spokesman said the deployment was not permanent and that "these forces are not going to fight in Ukraine".
- An additional 8.500 troops have been placed on 'heightened alert', the Pentagon says.
- Where is this Russia-Ukraine thing going? Will the U.S. have to intervene if Russia invades?
