Tesla is recalling 54 thousand cars that have a self-driving feature.
- The feature allows the vehicle to roll through stop signs, depending on the traffic.
- Tesla has received criticism for the rolling stops being in violation of traffic laws and the National Highway Traffic Safety Association has sent a letter to the company reading, “Failing to stop at a stop sign can increase the risk of a crash.”
- Tesla vehicles affected by the recall include the S, X, 3, and Y models manufactured between 2016 and 2022.
- Do you think self-driving cars will ever be the norm? Would you feel safe in a self-driving car?
