LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A small brush fire was quickly extinguished today near the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway in the Eagle Rock area, and no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the area west of Figueroa Street at 9:07 a.m. doused the flames in 22 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
Some freeway traffic was affected during the firefighting effort, but no structures were damaged.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
