The family of Michelle Avan - a Bank of America executive beaten to death in her own home in early August - are demanding that DA George Gascon file special circumstance charges against the killer.

On August 5, 2021, Michelle Avan was found dead in her Reseda home after being beaten to death by her former boyfriend, Anthony Turner, who was also a colleague to Avan.

Avan had previously been promoted to senior vice president days prior to her murder.

The family of Avan is angry with DA George Gascon for not filing a special circumstance charge against Turner, which means he could possibly be freed on parole after 10 years.

Turner was charged with murder and first-degree burglary. He was released on bond days after his arrest.

Family members of Avan will be rallying on Thursday, in-front of the DA's office, hopeful to get the special circumstance charge added to Turner.

Attorney of the Avan family, Sam Dordulian will be joining the John and Ken Show at 4 PM to discuss the rally.
