She was found guilty of five of the six federal counts that she was charged with -- but was not found guilty of "enticing a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, which carried a five-year sentence," according to NBC News.

She will face up to 65 years in prison for her crimes.

There were six days of deliberation before the jury reached their verdict. Afterward, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York said, "The road to justice has been far too long. But, today, justice has been done. I want to commend the bravery of the girls — now grown women — who stepped out of the shadows and into the courtroom. Their courage and willingness to face their abuser made this case, and today's result, possible."

Maxwell has been in prison since July of 2020.
