HUNTINGTON BEACH (CNS) - An armed suspect who allegedly shot a person along a Sunset Beach greenbelt was shot by Huntington Beach police today.
Police responded to a report of a shooting just after 12:20 p.m. at Third Street and South Pacific Avenue in Sunset Beach, said Jennifer Carey of the Huntington Beach Police Department.
When officers arrived they found the armed man, and at least one officer opened fire, striking the suspect, Carey said.
Both the suspect and the man he allegedly shot were taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Carey said.
No officers were injured.
