A nuclear submarine belonging to the U.S. Navy was damaged after it ran into an uncharted underwater mountain, Navy officials say.
- The vessel, the USS Connecticut, made the collision early last month while operating in the South China Sea.
- The sub sustained damage and had to travel to Guam for repairs. Some crew members suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
