LOS ANGELES (CNS) - One man is dead today and another was injured in a shooting in the Rampart Village neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Officers were called at 11:54 p.m. Monday to the 300 block of Vermont Avenue near Beverly Boulevard where the shooting occurred, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene and another was transported to a hospital, said an LAPD spokeswoman.
Police said witnesses said there were two suspected shooters but could not confirm if they were in custody.
No further details were immediately available.
