HOLLYWOOD HILLS (CNS) - A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle today on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in the Hollywood Hills.
The person was injured about 2:15 a.m. north of Cahuenga Boulevard and died at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Information was not immediately available on the identity or gender of the fatally injured person.
The motorist, whose name was not released, remained at the scene and cooperated with officers, the CHP reported. Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted.
