Little Change to Average LA County Gas Price

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of a cent today to $4.399 one day after decreasing four-tenths of a cent.

The average price is unchanged from one week ago but 1.3 cents more than one month ago and $1.185 higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is eight-tenths of a cent less than the 2021 high of $4.407 set Aug. 31. It has risen $1.167 since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped a half-cent to $4.352 one day after remaining unchanged. It is eight-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and one-tenth of a cent lower than one month ago but $1.17 higher than one year ago.

The Orange County average price is 1.9 cents less than the 2021 high of $4.371 set Aug. 27. It has risen $1.144 since the start of the year.
