Spain has a message for travelers from the United States: "No vaccine card, no entry."
- Effective immediately, visitors traveling from the U.S. will be required to show proof of full vaccination -- in the form of a "certificate that the Ministry of Health recognizes as valid" -- for admittance into the country, the Spanish Health Ministry announced Wednesday. The move makes Spain the world's largest country to tighten its border restrictions.
- The ban comes less than a week after the European Union removed the U.S. from a list of countries that are exempt from the rule.
