KISS Cancel Show After Paul Stanley Tests Positive For COVID

KISS fans in Pennsylvania were left disappointed last night when the band’s concert at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown had to be canceled after Paul Stanley tested positive for COVID. The band did note that everyone in KISS and their crew is vaccinated.

Stanley let fans know that he was okay though, tweeting, “PEOPLE!!! I am fine! I am not in ICU! My heart allows me to do 26 miles a day on my bike!,” adding, “I don’t know where this came from but it’s absolute nonsense.”

So far there’s no word on whether the date will be rescheduled.

Ex-Bad Wolves Tommy Vext Sued For Copyright Infringement

former Bad Wolves singer Tommy Vext dragged his former manager and Better Noise Music label founder Allen Kovac to court over his split from the band. Now, he’s being sued back.

Tommy is being sued for copyright infringement by his former label and management, accused of trying to “sabotage” Bad Wolves after his exit by posting unreleased music videos and recordings without permission. The suit also points out that Tommy recently announced a tour under the name “Tommy Vext and The B@d W8lv3s,” which they call a “blatant attempt to confuse concertgoers into thinking this is an approved tour.”

The lawsuit also touches on the reasons behind Vext’s exit from the band, like the controversy about his outspoken and “polarizing” political views, and the restraining order against him by his ex Whitney Johns. In the suit, Allen insisted he tried to help Tommy “repair his image and get his career back on track,” but that Tommy “wouldn’t listen to reason” so he quit… and went on to accuse Allen of using “derogatory racial slurs,” which the band says isn’t true.

Gorillaz Release Surprise EP

Gorillaz has dropped a surprise EP, “Meanwhile.” The new EP is part of Gorillaz’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, which kicked off earlier this year with the anniversary of their 2001 debut album.

The three-track release gets its title from Meanwhile Gardens, which is where the band played their first-ever live performance. In 2000, they performed the song “Clint Eastwood” at the Middle Row Records Soundsystem at the spot in London.

“Meanwhile Gardens are just around the corner from Memory Lane,” Gorillaz frontman 2D says. “If you get to Crawley you’ve gone too far.”
