LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man in his 40s was shot to death today in the Florence area of Los Angeles and sheriff's detectives were investigating the homicide.
The shooting happened in the 1400 block of 77th Place about 12:40 p.m, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Eva Jimenez.
Responding deputies found the man unresponsive on the sidewalk. He died at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
No motive or suspect description were available.
